"Sonata for Strings"

"Sonata for Strings", 24" x 24", collage on canvas, is my latest effort using the Wabi Sabi theory. This time I create my own paper by stenciling, scratching a design on tissue paper, then putting the tissue on the canvas. It definitely made the design. Also in this is washi tape, stamped paper, an "S" stencil letter, and some fabulous black paper I received as a Christmas present. I think this is my first abstract collage. Another adventure in creating art.
A lovely, and restrained, image. Love all the layers.
