"Curtained View"
Digital Collage
11" x 14"
It was a thrill to be a part of my first photography show...and with my digital collage.  This show is being held at the Gaylord Art Center in Gaylord, MI. Of course, I was smiling when they announced my name as the 2nd place winner.

This picture was taken with my iPhone out my window when I went to San Pedro, CA this last summer, thus the curtains and the building across the way.  The color was manipulated and the numbers were changed around off the brick wall at the bottom.  I don't think my photo here does it justice.

I was especially pleased since the show consisted of many wonderful, traditional photos.  The juror is a highly respected photographer, so that added to my elation.  Check out Bill Schwab, the juror, on Facebook or on his blog.  Oh, my!!

Winter Shoreline in ISEA Virtual Exhibit

"Winter Shoreline"
ISEA (International Society of Experimental Artists) has its first Virtual Exhibit for members.  My entry is "Winter Shoreline" 20" x 20" mixed-media collage on canvas.  This piece was also in the 2014 Mackinac Art Exhibition on Mackinac Island.  The exhibition was held at the Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum.

Look at the exceptional artwork.

Crow Girl goes to San Diego

"Crow Girl's Journey to Shanghai" has just returned home from San Diego.  This artwork was part of a juried show at the Studio Door.  I was so impressed so impressed by the artwork in this show called The Crow Show: An Homage to the Raven.

Better yet, check out the Facebook page to follow the opening and the fabulous artwork.  "Crow Girl" is even posted here.
