Another successful Collage on Canvas class held at Crooked Tree TC. Always amazing what creativity is in a person. All of the collages turned out different. The ladies were at times very quiet, busily working you could just hear the brain wheels turning. It was a great class Thanks, ladies.

Three pieces were accepted in the first round of judging for the Mid-Michigan Show held at the Midland Center for the Arts. The final two accepted are an unusual pair. I’m pleased to be a part of the show.

On a roll!!! “Crow Magic” takes Honorable Mention at the 2019 All-Media Show held in Frankfort at the Oliver Art Center.

Good News. “ Caging Chaos” has been accepted in the ISEA 18th Annual Juried Show to be held in Lowell, MI in September.

A class with following in San Diego and Traverse City. The mono-print to multi- print is a way to develop printmaking skills without a printing press. This class uses deli paper to print with. Add stamp making from styrofoam trays and craft foamy. We learn about chine colle and collage. The class is enjoyed by all.

Just was notified that “Loon’s Call-Peace” has been accepted in the GALEX 53 Exhibition to be held at the Galesburg Civic Art Center in Galesburg, IL.
This show had 866 pieces by 255 artists with 73 chosen. WOW, I’m thrilled!!!!

I’m sending off my Tiny Sketchbook to the Brooklyn Art Library , Brooklyn, NY. This year I signed up for the tiny book. This book will be put in a suitcase and travel around the world with other books. My book theme is Tiny Maps of Unknown Places. The maps are made from atlas pieces and magazine maps. Take a look. 🧐

It’s definitely winter in Michigan with blizzards, whiteouts, and school closings. WINTER was the theme of the recent GACA show held in Glen Arbor. My piece “ Snow Day” was part of the show.

“Crow Magic “ was accepted in this prestigious show. Over 300 entries with 92 pieces in the show. The entries were open to 26 counties including all of the Michigan Upper Peninsula. The show runs through May.
