Pull Up A Chair

Pull Up A Chair has been invited to the Crow Show at the Studio Door in San Diego. 360 entries with 92 selected. This piece is a 30”x30” collage on canvas. My first entry to this show was in 2015. I’ve been in every show since then. I do love going to San Diego and love my arty friends there. 

Crow Amigos

Crow Amigos  substrate a vintage book cover. Printed crows. Found objects. Corregated cardboard. Collage. This piece won an Honorable Mention at the juried show held at the Oliver Art Center in Frankfort. 

Hope Uncaged sold

So happy to announce that “Hope Uncaged” sold at the 93rd Annual Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibit held at the Muskegon Museum of Art. What an honor!!!

Gone International

So thrilled to be part of the ISEA (International Society of Experimental Artists to be held in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. My piece “Spirits Hear our Prayers” is meant to bring awareness of the violence toward women, especially Indigenous women.

Back to Mackinac Island

Just back from juried show on Mackinac Island. My entry “ Memories of the Journey” was one of twenty chosen from ninety entries. Very proud to be part of the show. 

“Hope Uncaged” in ISEA Exhibit

My piece, “Hope Uncaged” is part of. 95 piece show held by the International Society of Experimental Artist on Mackinac Island at the Mission Point Center. Show opens Sept. 3. If you are anywhere near, take a look at some unusual artwork. 

WordPlay Series

Interested in artwork featuring font and abstraction. This #1. Really enjoyed using mark making on tissue and skins. 

Mackinac Island Entries

Keep your fingers crossed. These are my entries for Mac Island theme “Walk in the Park” art show. I’m hoping one of these entries gets in the show. Last year I got an Honorable Mention and sol the artwork the night of the reception  It was a very good show!!!

Crow Show San Diego

Another successful Collage on  Canvas class held at Crooked Tree TC. Always amazing what creativity is in a person. All of the collages turned out different. The ladies were at times very quiet, busily working you could just hear the brain wheels turning. It was a great class Thanks, ladies.

Mid-Michigan Show, Midland

Three pieces were accepted in the first round of judging for the Mid-Michigan Show held at the Midland Center for the Arts. The final two accepted are an unusual pair. I’m pleased to be a part of the show.

On a roll!!! “Crow Magic” takes Honorable Mention at the 2019 All-Media Show held in Frankfort at the Oliver Art Center. 

Art at Lobby Gallery in Glen Arbor

I was invited to show artwork in the Lobby Gallery in Glen Arbor. It is a group of 12”x12” collage on canvas featuring my tapescape. Check it out if you are in the area.

The good news is that I took 3rd place at the Still Life and Soup Show in Charlevoix, MI. “Flowers and Alphabet Soup”. Was the entry. Two other pieces are also available in this show.

Good News. “ Caging Chaos” has been accepted in the ISEA 18th Annual Juried Show to be held in Lowell, MI in September. 

Mackinac Island 2019

“View from the Grand” takes an Honorable Mention at the Reception held on Mackinac Island on June 19.  Then, a new found friend bought it!!! What an exciting evening!

“June Sunset” is also part of the show, and for sale. This is my 5 th year to be in this show. I’m so honored!!
